  1. #1 Colleges with the Best Professors in South CarolinaClemson UniversityClemson, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.93 out of 5 3,670 reviewsJunior: Clemson is an academically challenging yet welcoming environment which has fostered some of the greatest experiences and relationships of my life. With a mix of great academics, athletics, and campus programs I could not be happier anywhere else. The majority of individuals who complain about Clemson life do NOT represent the majority here at Clemson. Clemson has a unique atmosphere where you can tell the majority of students prioritize their academics unlike other campuses I have been to. Additionally, I have never met a rude person at Clemson. Everyone is open, kind, and willing to offer academic or personal advice. Also, the career center on campus has been number one in the nation several times and can almost guarantee you work. As an ME student my academics are quite challenging compared to some of my other friends who are ME at other universities, however, I think that the numerous programs, academics, and athletics Clemson offers makes for the perfect college experience!... 2. #2 Colleges with the Best Professors in South CarolinaUniversity of South CarolinaColumbia, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.87 out of 5 4,660 reviewsSophom*ore: My experience at University of South Carolina as a transfer student has been exceptional. Compared to my previous University, there are a plethora of dining options in many different locations. Professors are helpful, kind, humorous, and quick to respond; aside from the professors, I have had a great experience so far as quick responses go. The average doctors appointment on campus is within minutes, while outside providers will generally see you within three weeks. As someone who takes my physical and mental health seriously, I have had a lovely experience and felt heard and cared for with outside providers in the community as well as University providers. The students here are incredibly kind and accepting; the community does not seem to be very "cliquey," and it seems as though there is enough of a variety of people for anyone to find a community of people they love.... 3. #3 Colleges with the Best Professors in South CarolinaFurman UniversityGreenville, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.64 out of 5 614 reviewsOther: Furman University is abound with so many opportunities both academically and socially. The Furman Advantage focuses on giving students research, internship, and study abroad opportunities. Classes are small, professors are engaged, and it is a collaborative environment. The incredibly kind students and professors at Furman put it on an entirely different level than a lot of the top New England schools we visited. Southern manners are a real thing. The campus itself is gorgeous. Without a doubt one of the prettiest in the country. It lends itself to a happy and healthy vibe. The city of Greenville is the most charming and aesthetic city with so much good food and pretty parks! The bike trail that connects downtown Greenville directly to campus is so fun to ride and walk on! What I love most about Clafin is the inclusivity of all students and involvement that such a small campus can impact on someone and a community. What I would like to see change is the lunch food and a handful of staff that I believe take advantage of student money and their role as professors. My experience at CCU has been some of the best years of my life. So many friends, so much to do, all in a great environment. The campus is beautiful, the housing reasonable and diverse. There are some challenges with navigating academics, but I think that was due to rapid growth and CCU is starting to just now catch up to its record enrollment. A college experience is really what you make of it. CINO days offer the opportunity to check out all the clubs, sports and Greek life and there really is something for everyone. The town of Conway bleeds teal and are so friendly and welcoming to the student body. The college is well structured. All the professors and faculty members go above and beyond to insure students’ comprehension and application of learned subjects. The professors are extremely understanding of students’ challenges and make accommodation to schedules and deadlines whenever possible to limit stressors that may affect academic performance. The professors within the school psychology program pride themselves on producing clinicians who practice professionally when communicating with parents and other stakeholders connected to the clients. The professors also rigorously challenges the students to consistently administer standardized assessments by the designed rules for increased reliability across settings, ages, and ethnicities. The art, music, kinesiology, and theater programs are the best. My major- computer engineering, is not as developed when it comes to curriculum and resources. However, the school is striving to change this through partnering with Clemson University. In terms of school activities, I can't say much because I am a commuter. The university strives to make sure that all students are performing well academically as well as providing stress management courses and activities for students to encourage them to keep going all while staying calm. I have enjoyed the campus life as well. The University of South Carolina Aiken offers many student activities for the students to get involved in. With the school being smaller than most universities, students are able to connect with other students intimately and build connections and long-lasting friendships. If I could change anything about the University of South Carolina Aiken, I would change the meal options they offer in the cafe. Everyone is sweet and understanding and they will work with you through any problems that you may have. Teachers will always make exceptions for students where they see fit and are always longing for communicative and fun relationships with their students. They offer very dynamic environments such as their clubs and organizations. If you love riding horses, they have a 24 year strong Equestrian Team with an outstanding team and coaches. If you love nursing, they offer an unbeatable student nursing association. If you have a kick for teaching, then boom, the PSTA-U is the best organization to sign up for. Overall, the school is very diverse with students who take extra time and care to show how much they appreciate their school and the foundations that they can work with in order to build their career. I have visited and toured the campus and have found the campus to be clean and navigable, as well as beautiful. Registering for classes was easy with the help from staff during Cobra Connect. The staff and students I’ve met during my visits were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food is good and they have a Starbucks on campus. I’m excited to be starting in August and am super excited.... 25. North Greenville UniversityTigerville, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.76 out of 5 627 reviewsOther: What I Liked about NGU was its strong sense of community and the Professors and staff were genuinely invested in students' success, both academically and personally. Another big thing for me was that it is Faith-Based the integration of Christian values into the curriculum and campus life creates such a unique and supportive atmosphere.I currently go to Clemson University and I have to say one of the things I value about NGU is there small class sizes This fosters a more personalized learning experience, with greater interaction between students and professors it was so easy to get connected and find community. The last thing I will mention is the Beautiful Campus you are surrounded by mountains and are close to so many beautiful hikes. What Could Be Improved:Modernization: Some facilities could use updates and renovations to keep up with current standards and technology. but I will say that the old buildings do have a certain charm about them ;)... 26. Limestone UniversityGaffney, SC·4 Year·Rating 3.7 out of 5 332 reviewsJunior: Limestone is a small campus which is something I like. The classes are small which means I get to learn better because I am not just another number. I have had really good professors who want to see me succeed and are willing to help me with any problem I may have. I would like to see our school do more fundraising I think our school could use more money to put into sports and academics and maybe start more masters programs. I am a criminal justice major and unfortunately Limestone does not have my masters program, if they did I would definitely work on my masters there. More money for the school would also mean more student activities. Our school is really good at getting involved with the students but they can always add more....
